This brilliant song was initially inspired by his Filipina wife, Veninia, when they first met.
" The song was never meant to be released as a single because it was a very personal song of how I met my very beautiful and talented Filipina wife, Veninia. However under a lot of persuasion I have now decided to share it with the world."
Through popular demand, it has now been produced on a CD Single for general release. Its a catchy and infectious little song, with a romantic story attached. After only the first hearing you will find yourself singing it, or even dancing to it. Its probably the kind of song that Lennon/McCartney would have written, simple catchy melody, accoustic rhythm guitar with some very nice harmony lead guitar fills, harmony backing vocals, with strings in the background to make the song flow.
This guy has been writing songs since 1966, and since then,has worked hard developing his musical and songwriting talents, and he knows just how to create and compose really good songs. In The early 1970's he took his songwriting more seriously when three of his songs got recorded; 'Sweet Lady Mine', 'Hey Little Girl' and 'Whatcha Gonna Do'. He has also written songs for football clubs, Yorkshire Televisions 'Calendar' programme and adverstising jingles for the radio. And his songwriting talents really shines through, with the two tracks on this CD.

Track 2 on the CD, "LOVE OF MY LIFE" is a very romantic ballad, which is a wonderful emotional contrast to the upbeat of "FILIPINA GIRL"
